My Thursday Thing: Hurricane Baking

As I sit here in my house in Raleigh, NC watching tv coverage of Hurricane Florence, I'm feeling fortunate that it looks as if this area will spared major impact. Some tropical storm force winds and a lengthy period of rain may be in route, but our fellow Carolinians along the coast and down south aren't as lucky. For them, I say a pray for their safety and for the good fortunes of their properties.

But one thing is for sure, I'm going to be trapped inside my house for the next three days with my wife, three kids and my mom. So what's a guy to do? Well, I am He Can Cook, so I guess I'll cook! More specifically, I'm thinking about trying out some recipes I've tagged over time on Pinterest. Even better, I thought I'd put the decision in your hands. That's right, it's time to vote on what I will make this weekend. You can vote by commented in this blog post, on my @hecancookusa Instagram posting or on my @hecancookusa Facebook posting. They all count equally. Voting closes Saturday at 12pm EST. Here are your choices.

  • Blackout Banana Bread

  • Churro Popcorn

  • Baked Lemon Donuts with Lemon Glaze

  • New York-Style Bagels
