Meet the New He Can Cook

I launched He Can Cook last July with a vision in mind and lots of ideas for the website. After running a few months of cooking competitions and posting weekly to my blog, I decided to take a little time off to rethink the concept and sharpen the business. And now I'm excited to introduce you to the new and improved He Can Cook! Here's a quick tour of what you'll find on the website.

  • Lessons - I'm now offering individual and group cooking lessons to wannabe cooks in the Raleigh-Durham area. There's no long term commitment and I can craft a lesson plan customized to your needs.

  • Cooking Challenges - These tests of your culinary greatness are moving from weekly to monthly to give you plenty of time to prepare your entry, and they are now open to EVERYONE! That's right, all genders are now welcome to compete and show off their greatness. Let's see what you've got.

  • My Thursday Thing - My weekly blog posts are back starting this week with a topic that's near and dear to my heart, food allergies.

  • Community Shop - I'm super excited to offer my very own hand-mixed, small batch spice rubs. They come in three varieties, original, smoky and spicy, and are great on so many things. And at just $5 a jar, they are a great buy. And, in the spirit of building a community of guys who love to cook, you'll also meet some of my friends in the shop who also offer up their delicacies.

  • Quickies - Check out my small but growing video collection of quick videos on basic cooking techniques and recipes to give you the foundation needed to improve your cooking.

  • #askhecancook - Looking for answers to your questions or suggestions on what to do with an ingredient? Think of this as your "Butterball Hotline", only it's for more than turkey cooking advice. Just tag @hecancookusa and use the hashtag #askhecancook and I'll get back to you with my best advice.

You can also follow me all over social media for posts of my cooking adventures, announcements of cooking challenges and new My Thursday Thing blog posts, latest recipes, videos, and so much more.

I hope you'll love it, I hope you'll share it with others and I hope you'll get involved in the journey! And please let me hear what you think in the comments to this post.
